FAMILY SUPPORT GROUP

The Family Support Group addresses the needs of families to stay connected with each other as well as with others who share the pain of the entire incarceration ordeal. Many times family members are not only grieving but also angry. They need a place to vent and work towards positive solutions. The support group was initially comprised of the caregivers who would drop their children off for the T.A.L.K. program on specific Saturdays. It has opened to anyone who has been affected by incarceration. Call Friends Outside at 522-2209.

Although Friends Outside is not a religious organization we welcome all outside resources that offer additional support. “Beyond the Walls” is a Christian based support group offering prayer and emotional support for those who have been left behind because of a loved one's incarceration. For more information please call Nita Brady at 575-9637.
